Aristotle made his geocentric model of the universe, which had been widely accepted throughout the whole of Europe for next millennium. Copernicus proposed the heliocentric model with measurements and proof to back himself up. Kepler found that planets rotate around the sun not in a circle but in an elliptical orbit. He also founded several laws to help back his claim. Now we are exploring the wild frontier of our solar system.
