Astronomy Ranger
As an institute for promoting social and astronomical education, TAEA gets into elementary and senior high schools to bring students hands-on activities and astronomical knowledge. The diversified activities are to help promote and forward astronomical knowledge. In playing competing games and working on group activities, students can gain unique experiences and learn astronomy as well. To reach out more people than visitors, TAEA also launches the plan “Astronomy Ranger,” sending astronomy professionals to schools every semester. Via games and various forms of learning activities, our professionals make astronomy so understandable that students become interested in astronomy.
On May 26, we’ll present the well-loved learning contents and activities featuring a special phenomenon, “total lunar eclipse.” This special campaign is scheduled to tour among 25 elementary schools, including roughly 2,500 participants, either students or teachers.
